Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

• Account information — your name, email address, and authentication details when you sign up or sign in.
• Startup profile — company details, founder information, stage, fundraising amount, links, and any pitch deck or documents you upload.
• Outreach content — investor lists you generate, and the email/message drafts created in your campaigns.
• Connected email data — if you connect a Google/Gmail account, the access needed to send messages on your behalf and to detect replies (see Section 3).
• Usage and device data — basic logs, IP address, and analytics needed to operate and secure the Service.
• Payment information — handled by our payment processors; we do not store full card details.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide, operate, and improve the Service.
• To generate investor targeting and draft personalized outreach using automated/AI tools.
• To send outreach emails on your behalf and track delivery and replies.
• To check government-scheme eligibility and provide related guidance (where applicable).
• To process payments, provide support, and communicate service updates.
• To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.

3. Google User Data & Limited Use

If you connect a Google account, we request only the access required to operate the email features you enable — namely sending email on your behalf and reading message metadata to detect replies to your outreach.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

• We use Google user data only to provide and improve the user-facing features you enable.
• We do not use Google user data for advertising.
• We do not sell Google user data, and we do not transfer it except as necessary to provide the Service, comply with law, or with your consent.
• We do not allow humans to read your Google data except where you explicitly consent, for security/abuse investigations, to comply with law, or where the data is aggregated/anonymized.

You can disconnect a connected account at any time, which revokes our access going forward.

3b. Investor Information & the Masked-Outreach Model

The Service helps founders reach professional investors. The investor information in our database is compiled from public and first-party sources — for example, public regulatory filings (such as U.S. SEC Form D), publicly available firm websites, and public professional profiles — together with, where applicable, business-contact enrichment providers.

Investor contact details (such as email addresses) are masked from our customers and are used only internally to deliver outreach a customer has chosen to send. A customer sees an investor’s contact details only if that investor chooses to respond to the customer’s outreach. We do not offer any feature to export, download, or bulk-extract investor contact data, and we do not sell access to it.

Investors: if you are an investor and wish to be removed from our outreach database, or to exercise access/correction/deletion rights regarding information we hold about you, email privacy@raisestartup.io (or the contacts in Section 11). We will honor verified requests, suppress the address from all future outreach, and delete the record where required by law.

We rely on legitimate-interest / legitimate-business-purpose grounds for processing business-contact information for B2B fundraising outreach, and we honor opt-outs and applicable do-not-contact obligations.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers we use to operate the Service — by category: cloud hosting and database, AI/text-generation processing, email delivery, payment processing, and investor-data enrichment. These providers process data on our behalf under contract. A current list of sub-processors is available on request.
• Legal and safety recipients — where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights and safety.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

5. Data Storage & Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored with reputable cloud providers. We apply access controls and reasonable safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion as described below.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at avadh@atharved.com (or avadhscart@gmail.com for India). You can also edit your profile or delete your account within the Service.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

9. International Transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, additional notice.

10b. Your Choices & Regional Rights (GDPR / CCPA / India DPDP)

EU/UK (GDPR): you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Our lawful bases are contract performance, legitimate interests (including B2B outreach and security), and consent where required.

California (CCPA/CPRA): we do not “sell” or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may request access, correction, or deletion.

India (DPDP Act, 2023): we process personal data for the notified purposes set out in this Policy and obtain consent where required. You may access, correct, or erase your data and may raise grievances with our Grievance Officer: Avadh Chouksey, Avadhscart Private Limited, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, India — grievance@raisestartup.io (or avadhscart@gmail.com). We aim to respond within the timelines required by applicable law.
